Sam Kay leads the pharma vertical at Basil Systems, an AI-powered regulatory intelligence platform used by pharmaceutical companies to build strategy based on the regulatory record. He brings over 14 years in regulatory affairs, including leading Cortellis Regulatory Intelligence at Clarivate, building the regulatory intelligence function at Gilead Sciences, and regulatory consulting at PwC. He coauthored the RAPS Regulatory Intelligence Reimagined, is a published researcher on FDA review timelines, and speaks regularly at DIA and RAPS. He holds an MPharm and PMP, and is a Registered Pharmacist (GPhC). He is also an adjunct professor at Mount Marty University teaching regulatory intelligence and strategy.
