About me
Furkan is a Senior Business Analyst at Lifescience Dynamics with extensive experience leading Competitive Intelligence projects across immunology, autoimmunity, respirology, neurodegeneration, and oncology. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, where he investigated antimicrobial immunological mechanisms to inform HIV therapies and contributed to critical SARS-CoV-2 research during the early stages of the pandemic. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children, studying early life immune events against normal gut microbiome species that influence inherited risk for Type 1 Diabetes.
