Balaji Bharatwaj is a Director of Competitive Intelligence at Pfizer, leading Competitive Intelligence activities for the Immunology & Inflammation portfolio. He has also supported Corporate Competitive Intelligence, Internal Medicine, and Anti-Infectives, providing insights to inform portfolio, development, and business decisions. Before transitioning into Competitive Intelligence, he spent more than a decade at Merck in pharmaceutical research and development, supporting inhaled drug product development, regulatory submissions, and other cross-functional development initiatives. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and brings experience across scientific research, drug development, and strategic intelligence
