Automating the watching layer of pharma CI: peer playbooks, AI triage, and a live build you can copy.

Pharma CI teams still do the watching by hand: weekly sweeps of long link lists, the same 60 to 80 pages checked two or three times a day, 200-message mornings where half the alerts do not matter. The signals that matter move first on public pages: registry amendments, agency calendars, competitor HCP copy, congress portals, HTA decisions.

This working session covers what peer teams watch and what they built on top of it: change events routed into Microsoft 365 flows, therapy-area mailboxes, weekly AI-filtered digests, and congress triage that replaced manual contractor sweeps. We'll build automations live on stage in under ten minutes, and every attendee leaves with a competitor monitoring starter pack.

Attendees will take away

- Which public sources pharma CI programs actually monitor, drawn from a real dataset of active monitors, and where the monitored volume concentrates
- Four architecture patterns for organizing a monitoring program: by marketed asset, by therapy area, by geography, or by client program
- The automation patterns peers already run: change events into Microsoft 365 flows, functional mailbox routing, and weekly important-only AI digests

Who should attend
CI practitioners and leads at pharma and biotech, CI agencies and consultancies, CROs offering regulatory or competitive intelligence services, plus regulatory intelligence, medical affairs, and market access professionals who own a watchlist.

Session level
Beginner to Intermediate. Practitioner-focused, no specific vendor tooling required to apply the material.
